Incredible ANTIQUE Wood CLIPPER SHIP WEATHERVANE Model Pond Yacht Boat 43x 27

Antique wooden boat, as shown. This piece is barn fresh... The normal process to clean something like this was tricky: every time we applied mineral oil to wipe the thick layer of dust, the wood soaked it in immediately! Please see images for current condition and patina from age.

The front sails are left off of weathervane models to keep all wind behind the point of rotation. It's assumed this was a backyard weathervane, likely early 20th century, 1920s area. If you're simply displaying it, a new wooden sail would likely be easy to make... But personally i love how it shows the purpose of the piece.
