Very beautiful antique model of a 1940 sloop with assembled sails, made of wood, fabric and thick threads depicting rigging. All wooden and fabric parts are in good antique condition, some fragments of rigging are torn off, but are located in places of breakage, which makes it possible to restore them. This is a decorative wooden sailboat model (likely a sloop or a small schooner), approximately 12 inches (30 cm) long, as seen next to the ruler. Hull - Made of painted wood: a white hull with a green keel and red deck structure.

The shape resembles a sloop or small schooner, with a pointed bow and flat bottom. Deck and Superstructure - The deck is made of natural wood and features several elements: a bowsprit, stern cockpit, and a central mast. There's a small rescue dinghy (elongated and white) placed on deck - a nice decorative touch. Masts and Rigging - One main vertical mast and a slanted forward bowsprit mast with sails: Gaff sail mounted on the main mast, rolled up on the gaff.

Jib sail (or staysail) attached to the bowsprit. Rigging is made of string - includes handmade lines, halyards, and sheets. Fittings and Accessories - Features string lashings, knots, and coiled lines for realism.

Primitive anchor and ring fittings are visible. The small white lifeboat is fixed near midship. Materials and Craftsmanship - Natural wood (possibly balsa or softwood), string (jute or cotton), possibly waxed or lightly varnished. Likely handmade, possibly built using plank-on-frame technique or flat hull assembly. Judging by the style and aged paint, it is probably a mid- to late-20th century piece.

Intended for interior decoration (bookshelf, desk display, nautical-themed gift, office décor).
