Vintage Hand Built Model of an 1800s/ 1900s American Fishing Smack Boat

  

A lovely vintage detailed hand built model of an American fishing smack boat, these boats were used off the west coast of Americaa in the late 1800s and early 1900s and had a large tank in the middle of the deck filled with sea water to keep the catch of fish in. Nicely detailed rigging and sails, the cabin has two beds and a stove, there is a hand winch for the anchor. Measures 54 cm long, 46 cm high and 13 cm wide.
