Union Craft Powered Model Boat wood + plastic Japan 1950s CLEAN screen used

  
This Union Craft (Japan) battery powered model boat has a white plastic hull with blue painted wooden deck and white cabin, plated metal fittings, red interior seating, with and electric 1960 "Evinrude Outboard Motor". Batteries are inserted under the seat.

Beautiful piece of nautical, model, and toy history. I was the host of "Vintage Tech Hunters" on Discovery Channel, and this was an item featured in the show. I was told that it was never used, and from its excellent condition it sure looks that way. The fragile plastic windshield is intact with no scratches cracks or breaks.

The delicate details on deck are all in place, including the aerial which is often missing. The battery compartment is clean, and the motor works! The decal on the motor is a little loose, which is common with these models. And most important - it floats! Photos are of the exact item(s) you will receive.
