This Sailboat Yacht Model was specially designed & built by the plank on bulkhead method (joining multiple small pieces of wood like Cedar, Mahogany, Teak and other exotic tropical wood together on the hull). The Bristol 35.5 was designed by Dieter Empacher a Ted Hood designer. Bristol Yachts was founded in 1966 by Clint Pearson of Pearson Yachts (one of the first production fiberglass boat companies).
Bristol Yachts constructed production and semi-custom boats up to 65 feet. Bristol Yachts went bankrupt and stopped operation in 1997. The model measures 29.3 long from bow to stern.
