This item requires some semi-assembly you will need to raise up the mast (a moderate skill level is required). This Sailboat Yacht Model was specially designed & built by the plank on bulkhead method (joining multiple small pieces of wood like Cedar, Mahogany and Teak wood together on the hull). The sailboat model is built exactly to scale as the original Bristol 35.5 was with many details. The task required skillful craftsmen hundreds of hours to accomplish. This Sailboat Yacht Model was specially designed & built by the plank on bulkhead method (joining multiple small pieces of wood like Cedar, Mahogany, Teak and other exotic tropical wood together on the hull). The Bristol 35.5 was designed by Dieter Empacher a Ted Hood designer. Bristol Yachts was founded in 1966 by Clint Pearson of Pearson Yachts (one of the first production fiberglass boat companies).

Bristol Yachts constructed production and semi-custom boats up to 65 feet. Bristol Yachts went bankrupt and stopped operation in 1997. The model measures 29.3 long from bow to stern. It's a fabulous boat model that will be a conversation piece for any room or office.
