Vintage Rico Battery Operated Wooden Model Boat in Original Box Japan Model #56001. This nice 1950s model boat is in remarkably good condition.

There is some missing paint on the life preserver ring and the windshield is bent and missing one of the three little nails that hold it to the wood boat. The deck is removable to get access to the C battery. It was tested; the light didn't come on and the motor didn't try to run. There is a rotary on/off switch and some very thin wires, so it is a loose wire somewhere. Measures: 9-1/2" x 3-1/4" x 1-7/8 tall (not including windshield or prop).
