Vtg WWII USS New Orleans Cruiser FOLK ART Toy WOOD BOAT Handmade Model Warship

  

Vintage handmade version of the USS New Orleans. It's in damaged condition with general wear including broken or missing parts. It needs cleaning as it's dusty. Appears to be made of mostly cardboard. Copper wire and some wood also used.

The port holes and windows have some sort of cellophane. There appears to be an connection which probably means a bulb is inside. I see no way of opening or replacing it. Interesting item in need of restoration and repair.
