Toy Time was Japanese company that made wooden boat models primarily in the 1940's to 1950's. We have not found information on narrowing down exact year of production. This one is 11 7/8 inches from bow to stern measuring the top deck. The rudder has a handle on top to move it and it is stamped " JAPAN ".
There are what looks like two battery compartments inside along with an electric motor. It has a sail in the box and a cover that sets on top in the opening in the center. We used a pair of alligator clips and a battery to test the motor and the prop spun quickly when putting a little power to it. We are including everything that was found in the box with the boat it has not been water tested.
Please study photos as they are part of the description. We have not water tested the hull and we did not find any holes in the bottom. The sides have a name painted near the bow but under the deck top. We do not guarantee it's function or if it has all the parts since we are not the original owners and bought it from and estate sale.
