This is an assembled Chinese model of a wugongchuan dragon boat. It is called this because of all the oarsmen on the sides of the boat, making it look like a centipede. This model is made of teak wood and is from the mid 20th century. It has a carved dragon head at the bow of the boat with wire whiskers.
The boat is 18" long x 6" wide ore to ore x 12.5 tall to top of flag pole. There are a few paddles missing from the ores, including the one on the back figure. The front drummer is missing one of the original sticks. I think the top flag broke off and was added to the drummer. It is vintage and parts are very delicate so it's not perfect. It could use a good dusting/cleaning. I'll do my best and please unwrap carefully.
You'll need to reassemble. I'll do my best to protect the delicate parts but I can't guarantee a few little brittle parts won't have light chipping. Again, I'm not saying there will be a problem but you'll need to carefully unwrap.
The boat itself and stand are in good solid condition. Please zoom in on photos for details and condition. It is a very interesting and beautiful piece.
