Vintage Kyosho Streamliner Electric Model Wooden Speed Boat

  

VINTAGE KYOSHO STREAMLINER ELECTRIC MODEL WOODEN SPEED BOAT. This vintage Kyosho wooden speed boat is a very nice example, although it has been in the water it is in very nice clean condition.

I have tried to post some close up shots of the exterior woodwork so you can see how nice it is. I may not complete this part of the project and you may need to complete this, which is a simple task. I will include some copper sheeting and a rudder to complete everything.

The boat is complete with a working electric motor and radio control unit as per the images and it has a brass propeller which my not be original. It also has an SCR1300 7.2 Volt battery pack, It would be nice to upgrade with a spare 3300 Mah NiMH or a 5000Mah NiMH battery with a Tamiya connector, but have not got around to it yet, just throwing out some ideas as this boat deserves it.

The boat also comes with a 230 Volt charger. The more you screw around with these things the more the boat will deteriorate.

The aerial slots into place, in the hole provided and stays there, but for a more permanent job it will be best glued in. One thing that is missing that would not be hard to replace is the wind shield and one support bracket. The boat looks OK without the screen.

The boat does have a stand with it and comes with the original full colour box, which can be seen in the images and will need a little TLC. It also comes with the original instructions and spares list and Saber remote control instructions. There are plenty of videos to view on Youtube of this beautiful little boat.
