Billing Boats 1/50 Mercantic This is possibly the original issue of this kit, which Billing Boats has on their site as BB424. It includes the wooden components in the main box, the fitting set and the pre-made metal mast set. In past times, Billing boats were marketed in this fashion to spread the cost of the model over time. When one had the hull and decks assembled, one could then add the fittings at that time. Everything is like new and unassembled.

All plans and instructions (such as they are) are included. The mast set comprise assembled (soldered) metal masts that are primered and ready to go.

Unlike many of the older Billing Boats kits, the hull components are pre-cut. Typically the older models have the pieces printed on the wood and the builder must cut them out.
