The 1955 Chris Craft Cobra model is handcrafted from beautiful wood such as western red cedar, rosewood and mahogany. The hull is constructed using a plank on bulkhead method. This Chris Craft Cobra speed boat model has been hand varnished with many coats of clear varnish. The Cobra model's deck is a mix of cedar strips and mahogany.

On the runabout model, you will find a variety of beautiful handcrafted cast chromed metal parts such as: front windshield frame, detailed gauges, steering wheel, running lights, cleats, brass propeller, rudder and much more. The bottom is painted white and there is a blue bootstripe. On the runabout model, you will find a variety of beautiful handcrafted cast chromed & brass metal parts such as: metal front windshield frame, detailed gauges, steering wheel, running lights, cleats, brass propeller, rudder and much more.

The cockpits have detailed hand stitched reddish brown & white leather seats and white leather trim. The tail fin and engine hatch are painted gold. A wooden stand comes standard with this model.

The Chris-Craft Cobra, an iconic speed boat renowned for its distinctive appearance from the era of big fins and wings, was produced for only one year in 1955. With a total of 106 units manufactured, including 55 1955 chris craft cobra boats at 21 feet and 51 models at 18 feet, this marked the company's initial venture into fiberglass experimentation, featuring a notable gold engine cover with a fin. Moreover, they all had the same bottom part, but the company added either a big Cadillac engine or a Hemi Chrysler engine. This made it a super fast classic boat!
