21" long, 18" height including stand. This detailed little handmade whaling boat grabs a lot more attention than you'd expect for its size. This New Bedford whaling boat is signed Terceira from Açores. Rescued from an old New England estate. Beautiful workmanship, completely wooden other than the loops on the mast and possibly the oarlocks, but i wouldn't be surprised to find they're carved.

There are 18 loose accessories plus the knife and axe attached. The cup fits in the barrel like a glove.

5 oars to fit 5 oarlocks. Even the tiny pulleys are carved wood. Rudder and boom have movement, sails are starched cloth.

Wood was just cleaned and oiled, bottom of boat and sails do show some patina from their age as shown Not perfect, but incredible condition. Feel free to ask any questions.
