VINTAGE BILLINGS BOATS #491 FITTINGS FOR "WASA 1628" WOOD MODEL SEALED KIT! You are considering the following. THE (10) FITTINGS TRAYS ARE PLASTIC AND TWO OF THEM WERE CRACKED - THE TOPS HAVE BEEN REMOVED FOR ASTHETICS BUT ALL THE FITTINGS ARE INTACT. AT THE TIME OF COMLPETION SHE WAS ONE OF THE MOST HEAVILY ARMED SHIPS IN THE WORLD - WITH MORE THAN 70 HEAVY BRONZE CANNONS.

SHE WAS INCREDIBLY TOP HEAVY. WITH THREE TIERS, THREE MASTS, AND ALL THOSE GUNS SHE FOUNDERED AND SANK JUST 1400 YARDS INTO HER MAIDEN VOYAGE IN 1628.

SHE WAS REDISCOVERED IN THE 1950'S AND SALVAGED IN 1961! SHE HAS BEEN A PERMANENT MUSEUM SINCE 1988. THE WASA IS NOW ONE OF SWEDEN'S MOST FAMOUS ATTRACTIONS AND HAS BEEN SEEN BY OVER 29 MILLION VISITORS SINCE 1961! THE BOX IS WORN FROM LONG STORAGE AND HAS BOTH PACKING TAPE AND MASKING TAPE KEEPING IT CLOSED ALONG THE BOTTOM EDGE.

THE FITTINGS ARE ALL COMPLETELY NEW IN THE BOX. IT HAS NEVER BEEN HANDLED OR THE PACKING MATERIALS OPENED (OTHER THAN THE TWO DAMAGED TRAYS). IT HAS ALL THE PLASTIC PARTS, ALL THE FITTINGS (OVER 940 PIECES) AND TWO COMLPETE LISTS OF CONTENTS COMLETELY REALISTIC AND INTRICATELY DETAILED!
