This high quality, highly detailed, intermediate level, Gondola Model is Brand New, fully assembled and ready for display (not a kit). This Venetian Gondola Model was specially designed & built by the plank on bulkhead method (joining multiple small pieces of wood exotic tropical wood together on the hull). The gondola model is built exactly to scale and painted as an original 1882 Venetian Gondola was with many details.

The task required skillful craftsmen hundreds of hours to accomplish. The most famous and characteristic symbol of Venice is the Gondola. This boat represents a typical Venetian Gondola circa 1882. The model now is rebuilt without the roof in the middle of the boat and used to carry tourists along the Venice River in Italy. The model measures 23 long from bow to stern. It's a fabulous Gondola boat model that will be a conversation piece for any room, office or restaurant. 23" overall length x 8" height x 6 width. Condition: New (except when sales and must need to be attached). Ready to display, not from any sort of kit.

Made of finest exotic tropical wood. Hundreds of hours were required to finish this model sailboat by skillful craftsmen and artisans. Individual wooden planks used in hull construction using plank on bulkhead method.

Highly complex rigging with varied thread gauge, hundreds of blocks and deadeyes. Figurehead, cannons, anchors, bell, propeller and other fitting made from metal and/or brass.

Solid wood base and brass nameplate included. Missing and loose parts are not considered damaged or defected.
