Adirondack Guide Boat Scale Model David Kavner
Excellent mint original scale model of an Adirondack Guide-boat by David Kavner of Keene, NY. Rare with all of its original pieces. Boat entirely held together by plank design, only metal on the boat are the 4 brass oar sockets, the 2 brass stems and 2 brass oar locks on the oars. Oars are free to be moved and placed in the other oar sockets. The yoke and back of the guide chair are removeable as well.
Signed David Kavner on inside of bow stem, dated May of 1990 numbered LXX 11 in orignal glass case which measures 25.5 long, 6.5 wide, 9.5 tall. Underside of display covered in felt.
